As a Community Connector, you will get access to info and opportunities related to current issues and initiatives that promote humane and informed policy, practice, and responsible leadership. This will be shared via SLSC’s monthly newsletter, Community Connections, which covers topics like:
- SLSC’s recent advocacy & research efforts
- milestones from SLSC’s member agencies
- links to our new resources and blog posts
- news, articles, and resources from other organizations
- and, ways you can get involved
When you sign up, we will send you one email at the end of each month with the content listed above. On occasion, we may send an additional email, but we will do that as little as possible to avoid crowding your inbox.
Past issues:
SLSC has been producing newsletters since 1971! First titled Coast to Coast, then Beyond Bars, and now Community Connections. As of September 2023, we switched to a new format. Instead of the long-form newsletter that we used to send out two or three times a year, we now share a shorter, monthly newsletter. Here you can read our most recent editions:
